Temperament Evaluation - Free*!
Our main goal is to provide a safe, fun & friendly environment for all dogs to socialize, play & exercise.
Friendliness is Essential!
Your dog must not have any aggression with other dogs or humans.
We require all new dogs to undergo a temperament evaluation to ensure the safety of all of our clients.
Free evaluations are 4 hours in length, and our $10 daycare/evaluation combination is up to all day!
Please note that intact males MUST go through a 10-hour $10 evaluation.
Offered regularly Sunday through Friday
*Not required for out-of-towners, grooming only clients, or certain last minute boarding emergencies (hurricane evac, etc)
Vaccinations
At Super Paws Houston, we require the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
- Bordetella (Kennel Cough) (If never received before, minimum 7 days required after vaccination before an evaluation can be scheduled)
These must remain current while staying at Super Paws
We are not responsible for booster updates and this should be kept track of with your vet to avoid any booking issues.
Recommended but no longer required:
- Canine Influenza H3N8/H3N2 Combo (if never received before, the initial booster must be received 3 days before an evaluation for efficacy)
Parasites, Fleas, & Heartworm (& other contagious illnesses)
All clients must be in good health to stay at Super Paws
A negative fecal test is required every 6 months or proof of regular deworming
Dogs should be on regular heartworm/flea prevention
If a dog arrives with worms (other than heartworm) during boarding, a $25-50 deworming fee will be applied and moved to our medical boarding rate
If a dog arrives with fleas, a $250 fine will be incurred and pickup will be required
